Volunteering

As well as providing services for young people, Youth With Vision involves many young people as volunteers through our V for Volunteering project. There's a wide range of new volunteering opportunities. You can have access to training, get certificates for your achievements, receive expenses, make new friends and make a difference.

Here's a few ideas on how you could get involved as a volunteer:

Office Based:

Communications Worker: Do you enjoy ICT? Interested in Web design, Desk Top Publishing, Working with the media, etc. We need your help to promote the projects developing at Help Our Youths

Fundraising: Enjoy talking on the phone? Make good use of it, contact potential donators and educate them with the much needed cause and get them to join our £6 per month project funding. Great satisfaction!!

Working with young people:

Peer Educator: Train as a peer educator and deliver fun workshops to other young people about issues you think are important such as Anti-Bullying, Drug Awareness, Diversity Awareness, Sexual Heath and Positive Relationships.

Peer Mentor: Train as a peer mentor/coach to support other young people through their vinspired volunteering experience.

Youth Worker: A number of our current youth workers joined the organisation as young people! If you like young people, enjoy a range of activites that focus on learning whilst having fun this could be for you.

Youth With Vision Management Committee (Young Trustees): Be the boss! We need young people to ensure they have their say on how all of our projects operate and develop. We need you in the driving seat to share your ideas, views and energy to take Youth With Vision into the future.
